Neighborhood Brats

Neighborhood Brats: a fantastic punk band from Los Angeles. They approached me and wanted a Saul Bass-inspired record cover and I fixed that after some conversations and mood boards. The ‘claw marks’ text is done with PVC tape.

The center label has a classic 60’s look to it, similar to Motown and Atlantic records. The jacket is standard: 3,5 mm spine, 3 mm bleed all around, CMYK print on the coated side, with an additional UV laquer. You gotta make sure not to have excessive bleed/artwork on the flaps, of else the glue won’t stick.

Underneath is a poster I did for their show in Malmö, which they like so much they wanted me to do the LP design.
